According to Wikipedia,Marcia, the Carolina Locust is a North American native and present in all of the lower 48 states, with a few exceptions.They’ve been around here in Michigan all my life, but I didn’t notice them until a few years ago. Maybe that’s true in Iowa, too.

I found one of these in Iowa . Did it migrate here or bought here some other way. I have never seen one before .
