On Saturday we had an excellent crew of volunteers at Bear Creek Nature Park! We started by weeding the native plant beds near the parking lot. We then spread out through the park to trim back brush growing into the trails.

Thanks so much to all of our volunteers! A special thanks to the group of  young guys that decided to spend their Saturday afternoon volunteering in our parks. We depend on you to keep maintain the natural areas in our parks! We hope to see all of you, and many more, at our upcoming volunteer workdays!

We cut down some really big glossy buckthorn.
