Learn about the Oak Openings, home to 150+ rare species!

We have many cool natural areas to be proud of in southeast Michigan. The Oak Openings region in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio really takes the cake, though. We’re excited to have Mike Losey talk about this unique area tomorrow, February 11, at 6:30 pm at the Paint Creek Cider Mill (4480 Orion Road, Rochester, MI 48306). Before moving to his current position as Natural Resources Manager for Springfield Township in northwest Oakland County, Mike worked with the Nature Conservancy managing habitat in the Oak Openings region. Bring a friend. You don’t want to miss it!
